Mackay Bluewater Trail Caneland park to Forgan Bridge A rainbow sea of interactive neon wire sculptures that change shape, a network of ropes waiting to come to life and a flexible, interactive music installation await you along the Bluewater Trail. In 2021, we shift gears and venues! Interactive installations taking up residency along the Trail include String Symphony - a giant illuminated puppet. Hand-woven using more than one kilometre of rope, the giant illuminated puppet is brought to life by you and the team from Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. Tiptoe through a geometric garden of giggles, splats, squishes and pops at Electric Meadow, brought to you by the creative geniuses at The Indirect Object. DBCT Illuminate will run three 45-minute sessions each night at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. Each session will have a limited capacity. Maximum of six per booking. Grab your spot early in the night at the Jack Sturgeon Stage and settle in under the stars for a night of variety from incredible local talent 6pm to 9pm daily. Just Tuk'n Around They’re fun, environmentally friendly, feet friendly and free! If you need a quick trip back to the City Centre or back to the start of the Trail, grab a tuk tuk, sit back and relax. Let the free pedicab service deliver you to your destination!
