The Mackay Seniors Expo regularly attracts more than 80 exhibitors and approximately 2,000 community members, making it one of the region’s key events focused on supporting older residents.

For Community Members:

The Expo provides a valuable opportunity for seniors, their carers, friends, and family to connect with a wide range of services, supports, and local organisations. Attendees can access information, discover new programs, and learn about services that enhance quality of life, wellbeing, and community connection.

For Stallholders and Businesses:

The Expo offers an ideal platform for service providers and businesses to showcase their organisation, promote their services, and engage directly with the community. Exhibitors can build awareness, strengthen networks, and demonstrate how their offerings contribute to improving the lives of older people across Mackay.

The event forms part of the Queensland Government’s state-wide Seniors Month celebrations which aim to improve community attitudes towards older people, facilitate community participation and activity by older people, and enhance community connections and inter-generational relationships.
