everyone is welcomed to sing.  we don't mind if voices are not perfect.  it's the enjoyment of singing and the good company of friends and maybe lunch afterwards that makes our singing days so good.   not bad raffle prizes either.  just turn up.  pay $2 and join in the singing.  if you like our singing mornings please become a member for all the benefits.   you will be given a sample newsletter on your first day with all our activities details listed.   enjoy.

there is wheelchair access.  if needed, bring your own carer.  enter via Goosies ( north mackay bowls club ) front door and follow our members.  we do enjoy a good chat too.

About

singing is held at Goosies, Malcomson St. North Mackay.  anyone can sing as solo or part of a group or seating as the whole room.  song books are provided.  singers may choose which songs they sing.  the room may join in.   organists / musicians accompany singers.  raffles are held.  become a member for $5 which lasts until 31st December 2023 and receive an 18 page newsletter every second month listing other activities and many other benefits.  arrival 8.30am to start at 9am.  20 minute smoko break at 10am and finishes at 11.30am. 1st and 3rd wednesdays of the month.  registration at the door on arrival.  mostly seniors over 50 years old.  our eldest member is 97 years old.  singing is good for the lungs too.
