The Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic gets Cluden Park's Ladbrokes Winter Racing Carnival underway in sensational style. This feature race day also kickstarts Cluden Park's 150th Anniversary celebrations which will be felt throughout the Carnival. Year in and year out thoroughbreds begin their racing careers as two-year-olds. The Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic, boasting $100,000 in prize money, is designed to identify the best two-year-old thoroughbreds North Queensland has to offer. Held on the same date that Stradbroke Day takes Brisbane by storm, the Lawrence & Hanson 2YO Classic Race Day is a punter's delight! The day's fashion focus is on a Millinery Showcase, featuring a unique Millinery and Hatter Mini Market and Millinery-only Fashions on the Field.
