Disability Services Victoria

DISABILITY SERVICES DIVISION in the Department of Health and Human Services provides support for people over six years of age assessed by the Department as having an intellectual or physical disability and their families. Disability Client Services Intake Workers help people with a disability and their families or carers to identify and access appropriate local support services including educational and vocational support, community living support, crisis accommodation, respite care, counselling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, day programs for adults, help with the criminal justice system, information about other services available in the community.
