Bridgestone World Solar Challenge Virtual Program

For over 30 years, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge has welcomed the greatest minds from around the world to Australia to push the limits of technological innovation and travel the outback in a vehicle powered only by the energy of the sun. Due to the cancellation of the 2021 Challenge, a Virtual Program is on offer to reognise, celebrate and engage with teams and the vehicles they have deigned and/or built for the 2021 event. The program consists of a Telemetry Challenge, and an Awards Program. The Telemetry Challenge will allow for driving, testing and comparison of solar cars and give teams and the wider community the opportunity to receive access to exclusive solar car data. The Virtual Awards will recognise the efforts of those who had registered for the 2021 event. The awards will highlight outstanding team achievements despite the challenges of the past year.
