About

The MRASA Toy Run is held every year, usually on the 2nd Sunday in December. Its goal is primarily to collect Toys and fundraise for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Christmas appeal. A secondary goal is to improve the attitude of the general public towards motorcyclists and motorcycling as a lifestyle through community service. Thousands of motorcyclists, many with their motorcycles garlanded in Christmas decorations and gifts, gather at Victoria Park in Adelaide and travel in convoy, led by Santa and the Lord Mayor of the District Council of Mount Barker in sidecars, to the small town of Callington in the Adelaide Hills, a distance of approximately 60k. There, a family and community friendly fair is held with a band, children's activities, food stalls, local community stalls, a show and shine, motorcycle club stalls, and much more to see and be entertained by. Non-riders, and all members of the general community and their families are welcome to attend the festivities where motorcyclists enjoy the one day of the year to be seen and heard and to get together with friends and to help the less well off at Christmas time. Entry Cost All tickets $5 - Children under 14 free MRASA members free
