[REMOVED] Mitchell Wines x MFP Fire Foods x Clare Valley Wine and Wilderness Trail

It's a day you don't want to miss at Mitchell Wines Cellar door! Kick off the day from 10am, join in with the team from the Clare Valley Wine and Wilderness Trail, with a hike for the official opening of the Mount Oadken Spur trail. If your not up for the hike that's more than ok, bring your friends and family and enjoy a relaxed day on the lawns at cellar door with food, wine, and music to entertain you for the afternoon. Matt from MFP Fire foods will be putting his fire-fuel cooking on show, stoking up the fire pit creating a delicious BBQ from 11am, and of course plenty of Mitchell Wines at the bar! This free event is to celebrate the opening of the Mt Oakden Spur Trail - Part of the Clare Valley Wine & Wilderness Trail. Mt Oakden is the 2nd highest point in the Clare Valley region, at 580m. It is a spectacular peak with stunning views down the Skilly Valley. The event walk runs from Mitchell Wines to Mt Oakden return, a distance of about 8km, and plenty of elevation.
