First run in 1860, the South Australian Derby (2500m) is a great testing field for the 3YO stayers across Australia. One of the most popular winners was Subzero in 1992 who also went on to win the Melbourne Cup in the same year.
With the announcement of a prizemoney increase to $1million, there are already some of the best horses in Australia being prepped for this race.
