Deep South Blues: a homegrown festival of epic local talent

Southport Community Centre and Lightwood Bottom Blues Club are bringing some of our best musicians to the Deep South for an autumn afternoon of grassroots blues, paid burgers and a bar. Featuring Kate Meehan Blues Band, The Swamp Ratzzz, The Superb Blue Wrens and Blue Stew plus a few far out/Far South jam sessions. Musicians testify that the acoustics from our local hall's fine outdoor stage is excellent. Bad weather won't make us blue as we also have an indoor option. The venue sits almost at the end of the A6 road. We have ample parking and a limited number of seats on our Blues Bus running return from Geeveston to Southport.
