Learn the basics of leather plaiting with instruction from Australian Plaiting Champion, Bill Webb at Ballarat's Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades. This course is available in both one or two days, learn how to bevel and taper and select strip-sized leather suitable for the project. You can choose to make a traditional plaited hat band, a dog lead, a bracelet or neck band out of Kangaroo leather – the strongest leather in the world - and take your finished piece home with you. One day course: Thursday 13 October. Two day course: Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October. Entry Cost All tickets $520
