About

Part of Ballarat Biodiversity Week, join this hands-on, practical workshop to help you respond to our changing environment and the emergencies it can bring.

Climate events are becoming more frequent and intense, impacting our homes, wellbeing and environment. This workshop will help you prepare for climate events such as heatwaves, fires, floods and storms - as well as other emergencies - with simple, practical steps you can take. Discover how small actions can build resilience, support your wellbeing, and strengthen your community - so you can face emergencies feeling capable, connected and ready for what comes next.

Tea and coffee, along with light snacks, will be provided. Please register to assist with catering.
