East Gippsland Winter Festival

The East Gippsland Winter Festival is set to light up the region from June 19 to July 11 with an array of events, installations and activities spanning from Bairnsdale to Mallacoota, Bruthen to Omeo and everywhere in between. Exclusive dinners will celebrate the best local produce prepared by some of the region’s most renowned chefs. Light and art installations and lantern walks will bring to life villages from their winter slumber including the Lakes Lights event at Lakes Entrance. The picturesque town of Bruthen, nestled on the Great Alpine Road, will be bustling with a mini fringe festival and a host of other events. A highlight of the festival will be the launch, as it brings to life an underused, dark laneway nestled in behind a run of shops and cafes with music, roving performances, street food and interactive art.
