Pre-lockdown, the Sloth Piano Bar, hosted by Josh Cake, was known to many as the most energetic show in the west. Much to the delight of Footscray locals, it's back, in a new Wednesday timeslot. This rollicking evening of the best scream-your-lungs-out bops from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and even 20s has its punters singing so loud that they can be heard from the street downstairs. Cake's prodigious ability to take requests means that the playlist is set by the audience, while the attentive bartenders at this cosy Footscray hidey-hole serve up stellar cocktails at attractive prices. Drinks and good times flow freely at this classic-meets-contemporary singalong bar.
