Ceramics Workshop - Incinerator Gallery

Join a six-week Ceramics Studio Workshop with ceramicist and artist Sachiko Mardon. This workshop aims to develop technical skills and enable individuals to produce personalised, skilfully finished ceramic artworks. Participants will explore various techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab-building, to craft a diverse range of vessels and sculptural pieces. The course covers clay types, surface decoration, and glazing, offering a comprehensive understanding of the ceramic process. Adult participants of all skill levels will create intricate pinch forms, construct larger coil vessels with textured surfaces, design three dimensional shapes using slab techniques, and apply glazed finishes to their artworks.
