Three fun workshops are available to introduce you to working with glass. In the glass bead workshop, you melt glass to create beads and then decorate the beads with stringers, before placing them in the kiln to anneal overnight. Using your creativity you will make at least six beads. This three hour workshop is a one-on-one session. However, if you bring a friend you both receive a discount. The price includes all the glass you use in making beads and an afternoon tea featuring locally made sweet treats. In the cocktail stirrers workshop, you make at least six Swizzle Sticks with Italian effetre glass and millefiori inserts. Whilst making, you can enjoy a mocktail and nibble on a local cheese board. The class runs for two and a half hours. You will make at least six Swizzle Sticks to stir your favourite cocktail. In the jewellery workshop, you can use glass beads you have made in a previous workshop, or use glass beads made by Catherine. Additional filler beads will be available to incorporate into your jewellery, or you can upcycle your own treasured beads. The price includes beads and findings for making one piece of jewellery. Additional pieces can be made during the class, with findings and beads being available for purchase. These classes are for people aged 18 and over. Entry Cost Adult $110 - They offer an individual one-on-one three-hour introductory glass bead making class, where Catherine guides you in making and decorating at least six glass beads ($190). In a subsequent class you can create a unique piece of jewellery with your beads for $110.
