There has never been a better time to make the trip "wonder out yonder" to the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show with 700 specimens on display in the Town Hall alongside the biggest regional Herbarium. Scheduled to run over 13 days, visitors will be given the opportunity to be guided by experts through the magnificent landscapes and flora in the Ravensthorpe Shire which encompasses the Fitzgerald River National Park. Craft Stall, Art Exhibitions, Patchwork, Four-Wheel Drive Tag Along Tours, Guided Nature Walks, plus Walk with a Ranger in the Fitzgerald River National Park, Hot Spot Bus Tours. Workshops, Local Geology Tour, Djilarup Honey Farm Tour. Enjoy Country Soup and Devonshire Tea daily in the Historic Community Centre. Fervor Food an Indigenous degustation food experience will be on offer. A key part of the Shire is the world class Fitzgerald River National Park, a biodiversity Hot Spot; showcases itself along a wild and beautiful coastline, features surfaced coastal roads, interpretive displays, walk trails and spectacular lookouts. Kukenarup Memorial (State Heritage award for 2016) an interpretive memorial, just 15kms West Ravensthorpe on south coast highway, a covered area, bush walk, orchids and wildflowers. Stay awhile to explore the region's wildflower hotspots discover flora and fauna not to be seen anywhere else on earth.
